it looks to me that credit starting frame was not set properly...
(and you're encoding full movie with credits settings)
34 minutes for credits? You better check that :)

no it is right, credits are 34 minutes on the fellowship extended dvd

I thought maybe it was the fact that in my avs, I had trimmed after IVTC, so I switched em back and redid the trim info.

but it still is doing this all wrong

I guess it is time to use a calculator, minus the credits size and manually encode the film in vdubmod

What I see is "CreditStart: 0" So the starting credits location is the first frame.

ok, so I messed up by just loading the avs's in the encode window.

it seems to be working perfect with opening the d2v, setting the credits start, save and encode, then replace my scripts with my custom trimmed scripts.

I went ahead and tried again, since my manual encode was 7 MB undersized, and that isn't something I like :)

I think because you have specified the credits start so early, it's using all the 1200mb or whatever on that single first frame.

no, it was because I had opened gknot, set 2cd, went to encode tab, clicked add, selected movie and then credits avs, for some reason it is a bit forrest gump when ya do that. when I reset the project, opened the d2v, cropped, set 2cd, set start of credits, then the save and encode stuff(before encoding I replaced the new avs's with my custom ones) and did all my encode options, it worked. so let this be a lesson, don't just make an avs for a movie and credits manually and open gknot and hit the encoder tab, cuz 3 times it did the corky mode, wasn't until I went thru the whole process and replaced my avs's that it worked.
