View Full Version : Dup + Decomb?

I was wondering if it were possible to duplicate progressive frames instead of using an interlaced frame, or using post. For example if there were a progressive frame, and then two interlaced frames, to use the progressive frame instead of those interlaced frames until the source becomes progressive again.

And for hybrid material, maybe a maximum parameter, so if there are more than 5 or 10 interlaced frames in a row, to do a full deinterlace on those instead of duping, and then when progressiveness comes back, restore the progressiveness. Thereby making no combing artifacts...

Is this possible? It would seem so if one could just easily detect if a frame is interlaced or progressive after telecide...

That's close to Decomb 5 post=2.

Thanks, I have been skimming over it, but I never saw those.
