I have an Aopen RW5021A flashed with hacked Firmware v1.50 (RPC-1) and am trying to burn onto a Princo DVD-RW (White Top, Blue Bottom) disk, but all my DVD-RW does is light up solid for about 2 minutes then blinks infinately and I can't burn to it, nero just freezes.
I Tried to burn with the unhacked version of the firmware as well, but it does the same thing.
Any Ideas? I have 200 of these RW disks I'm hoping to use them :p

glitch,
Worst media I ever bought. Lucky to get one burn then after erasing, every second burn skipped on both my standalone and computer. Threw the entire 10-pack in the trash. Now use Pioneer DVD-R/W and have high hopes for the promised 1000 burn/erase cycles.
Better luck next time.

Hey, check this out CLICK ME (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdwriters.php?DVDname=aopen&Search=Search&list=0), according to this my DVD-RW Drive only supports DVD+RW Disks.
Whats the difference between DVD-RW and DVD+RW?

Beta vs. VHS.
Dog vs. Cat.
Different animals.
There is +R, -R and DVD-RAM(rarely used on PC's).
You have to get the format your drive supports, unless you buy a multi-format drive like the Sony DRU-500A.

You are very lucky then. Princo is not high on the list of good media here. They are closer to the bottom.
