I have ripped to backup "saving private ryan" and "minority report" at different times. I then have the Vob and IFO files in my folder whan i try to use dvd shrink 2.3 i point it at the ifo file and then it reports it cannot find the file as it does not exsist.I cannot then do anything with the files to make them fit onto one DVD-R.
Is this error created by decrypter?
Hope you can help
Thanks

is there anyway that i can just rip the main movie so i do not have to downgrade the quality of the film as it will not fit on one disk.I thought that i could select the main movie only.I did this with XXX and it was all ok when iburned the disk all i had was the main film with no menus and with a perfect DVD quality end result.
hope i have explained that ok.
Thanks

you can certainly do movie only backups with any version of dvdshrink. But for v2.3 specifically, (assuming you're using dvddecrypter) you need to RIP all the files, and then once you run dvdshrink, just use the reauthor mode and choose the main movie title set.
