Hello,

I was looking for a RPC1 form my LG GMA 4020B DVD burner, and found only "update" that were not RPC1.
Should I anyway update to the latest firmware (A108)?
What is it going to bring me?

It probably fixes errors and extends/updates the internal media table of your drive. Maybe ask LG for detailed information :) ...

When your burner is working correct. Why would you update?

There is no RPC1 patched firmware available for your burner yet, but I'm more then sure that one of those firmware patchers will release one eventually, just visit this (http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?category=4&manufactor=16) page once in a while.
