DVD2SVCD for DVD backup / Pulldown problem

I've been using the mij method of backing up DVDs for about 8 months now and haven't had any problems. I'm using the most current version of DVD2SVCD and CCE 2.50. All the movies I've backed up are NTSC and I've always ended up with 2 m2v files: one enconded.cce... and one pulldown...m2v During the backup of my last 2 DVDs DVD2SVCD ran and finished like normal but I noticed that I didn't have a pulldown.m2v file in my directory just the encoded.cce...m2v file. I was under the impression that all NTSC movies needed to have pulldown run on them to correct a framerate issue. Anyone have any ideas as to why Pulldown isn't running on these two DVDs? Can I use the encoded.cce.m2v file or will it not look right? Any help would be appreciated. I should mention that both of the last 2 movies I tried to copy were animes. Does that make any difference?

If you would like to do the pulldown yourself there is a util called Dopulldown (here (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/SupportUtils/DoPulldown.1.0.0.0.zip)). Just pick the file you want to run pulldown on and where you want to have the result put.

yes, it might. check the dvd2avi message in the dvd2svcd log file. what does it say?
