Strange Green lines bugs in Xvid resolution.

Xvid codec implementation have a little bug when you query it to know if the frame format and size are good for him : It simply say YES :) But, it is not true in all case. Xvid support modulo 16 * modulo 16 resolution only. If your input resolution is not adapted, Xvid codec will simply cut the by x%16 the width, and the same thing for height, and keep the actual frame buffer. Result : Your video is totally unrecognizable, and a superbe green line is cutting it in two parts...

Conclusion : When you use Xvid, width and height divisible by 16! :)

hum, hum, IIRC I have done quite some encodes with a modulo 8 height. Yes, width has always been /16 in my encodes.

My encodes are at 32 height and 16 width and havent seen what you decribe

I've noticed that effect when I've done some encoding in 4x4 resolution with Divx5 and playing it with ffdshow. Try to change FourCC to Divx5 and play it with Divx5 filter and that green line should be gone.
