Is IVTC2.2 with AviSynth 2.5

Has the filter been ported to 2.5 or is it only in 2.0? Also if it isn't, what alternative IVTC filters are there for AVISynth 2.5? I looked, but I only found one called IT.dll, but it was in Jappaneese. :(

I tried Decomb with allot of different settings, but I still couldn't get this damned Anime to work. Now don't laugh, but I'm encoding Evangelion. We all know it's a bastard, but I had some good success with IVTC2.2 a long time ago. That's why I was asking. Your Decomb works great with everything else.

As I always say, analog telecine sources cannot be IVTCed. Deinterlace, or bob it to 60fps... or get the upcoming japanese R2 DVDs, they are progressive! ;)

Maybe Decomb will work, and you are giving up too easily. The author of the program is very willing to inspect a sample clip and offer his suggested settings.

Thanks for the help Neuron, I'll set up my http server. But one quick question, how do I make a short clip of the VOB, what program do you recomend for cutting? I've never done it before.

As we've said, we're quite well aware that a real progressive source is going to be better, and that this DVD is problematic. Hiro wanted to achieve as good results as possible with it. I helped him to do so. That doesn't mean there is something wrong with us.
