2 quick questions

Question 1: How do I turn B-Frames completely off? I'm using XviD-17022003-1.

Here are my current settings (below)

B-Frame Control:
Maximum B-Frames: -1
B-Frame Quantitizer Ratio (%): 150
B-Frame Quantitizer Offset: 100


/me has been reading up, and I learned that disabling b-frames will help me reach my targeted sized closer.

Question 2: What are the best settings for "Quantitizer restrictions," to get the greatest amount of quality and the nearest size to the targeted size?

Min I-Frame quantitizer: 2
Max I-Frame quantitizer: 31
Min P-Frame quantitizer: 2
Max P-Frame quantitizer: 31

You do it like this with build you're using:
Maximum B-Frames: -1

You don't quite understand. Reason why you sometimes can't reach targeted filesize is very simple. Your source has very high compressibility(example very dark movies) but who cares if your file is undersized in this case? Just use higher audio bitrate if that bothers you or higher resolution. Disabling VHQ helps too. You can reach very easily targeted file size with Xvid.

Why are you using so old build? Just d/l latest Koepi build and you will get very nice quality boost.

I don't personally restrict quantizers...

Yeah, I should upgrade the build ~_~. BTW, very very dark movie. I think I will change the resolution, and if it's still small up the audio. I would just like to reach a data rate of like 180-200 kbps. Thanks for your help on the B-Frames.
