Updating InstantCopy

When I try to update IC, it wont update to version 7.1.1.

The odd thing is that i have found to links to version 7.1.1

This one has the date 19/5

This one has the date 18/6

When I run both updates it updates IC to 7.0.3.140

I have also tried with a clean install of IC, version 7.0.0.91 bit I get the same result.

Can anybody tell me whats wrong?

there is nothing wrong...you are updated to the lastest version

Click upper left corner on two cd icon and choose About.
Setup: 0031 7.0.0.80 Jan 15, 2003 --- on CD says: VERSION 7.0
Setup: 0039 7.0.0.91 Feb 05, 2003 --- on CD says: VERSION 7.0a
Setup: 0044 7.0.1.114 Mar 10,2003 --update1
Setup: 0046 7.0.1.119 Mar 25,2003 --update2 (cumulative)
Setup: 0053 7.0.3.140 May 15,2003 --update3 (cumulative)

Thanks for the answer.

I just thought that is should read 7.1.1.X or something like that. But if it is updatet i'm happy :cool:

But why call it 7.1.1 if it's real 7.0.3.140

I know, it's just the dumb way Pinnacle have done it.

Probably cause 7.1.1 looks like a larger upgrade than 7.03.140 to the average consumer. Some people may not update if they are not having problems and won't be able to notice the increase in speed there is with the update. If they update and it runs faster they may be more likely to tell their peers to buy it. :)

the strange thing is just (to me) that they have released to updates they call 7.1.1, both called instantcopy_update3.exe but there are 1month between them. Whats the logic? :rolleyes:
