Hi,

I have read somewhere in this forum that @DVD2SVCD decided to use TMPGEnc's pulldown at encoding time to save the extra pulldown step and the huge amount of disk it requires.

I have also read that CCE can do pulldown too at encoding time. Does anyone know why DVD2SVCD decided to no use this feature in CCE? Isn't it a good idea?

Thanks in advance.

Simply because it is only the latest versions that support this. Also, I had considered to use it but decided against it because the time impact is not worth it imho.

Definetly. 6 minutes on a 2 hour movie is not worth it.

It's the disk space needed what I think may make it worth. Having the separate pulldown stage duplicates de video file, 1.5GB more on disk for a 2 CD movie.

But... What the hell. I guess there is more important stuff on the pipline.

Thank you very much for a prompt response.
