I would like some imput if someone wouldnt mind.

I used DVDshrink to rip out a few titles, and then IC to compress the movie.

My problem, or question is this. DVDshrink worked well, but there is no way to preserve the MENU doing this. I didnt notice till I compressed the movie in IC and burned and then played it, that I lost the menu. No biggie for this movie, but is it possible to strip out titles in DVDshrink while preserving the menu?

If so please tell me how.

Otherwise what program should I use to strip out titles?

This is one way of stripping out unwanted titles (trailers, deleted scenes, etc.) while preserving menus.

1)Use IfoEdit to play the original DVD to see what titles are necessary for DVD play (for example, let's say VTS_01_*.vob and VTS_02_*.vob, along with the VMG files, are needed for the DVD to properly play).
2) Use DVD Decryptor in File Mode to copy the necessary files from the original DVD to the hard drive (in this case VTS_01_*.vob and VTS_02_*.vob, along with the VMG files were copied). All the other files (VTS_03_*.vob, etc) were not copied.
3) Use IfoEdit again to 'Get VTS Sectors' and click Save.
4) Use DVDShrink in Full Disk mode to strip out any audio/subtitles you may not want and to compress any titles in order to get to 4.38 GB or less.
5) Use MenuEdit to delete the menu buttons that were linked to the unwanted material that was stripped out (trailers, deleted scenes, etc). I HIGHLY recommend registering the program. It's easier to modify the menu buttons when you can actually view the menu screen image (the image shown when playing the DVD) rather than going by VobID and CellID.
6) Test with your favorite DVD software playing program (for example, PowerDVD)to make sure the newly created DVD files play correctly.
7) Burn with your favorite burning program (for example, Nero).

That's one reason DVD95copy still has an advantage over the other. The ability to remove titleset you don't want and still retain the menu.

But all the programs I mentioned except for PowerDVD and Nero are FREE :D
