Princo DVD-RW won't earse on Pioneer A05/A04 but will on LiteON/Sony

I had a problem during an erase cycle using Princo DVD-RW 1X media on
my Cendyne/Pioneer A05. It errored out while preforming a quick
erase. I then tried a full erase using the A05, then tried my A04 none
would erase the disk. Before trashing the DVD-RW, I decided to try
our LiteOn/Sony dual format DVD+/-RW at work. It recognized thst
there was a vob file on the disk and performed a quick erase
successfully. I am not writing to this disk on the A05.

The firmware on the A04 is version 1.31
The fireware on the A05 is version 1.21

Has anyone else experience a similar proglem? If so, did you find a
fix for the problem?

I've same problem with my A04 (firmware 1.31,1.33,.40). Downgrade firmware to 1.20 will fix the problem.

I haven't found any DVD-RW which is worse than Princo so far. They're the only ones which cause medium errors on my Pioneer A03
