hi.
i am currently writing a program to automate some reencoding for me.
i want to reencode downloaded mpg tv episodes to ogm.
i can demux video and audio using bbtools, i also can generate vdub and vdubmod jobs files and use besweet.
so i get a .ogm file completely by calling other apps using their command line interface.
now i have the problems that so many have with this kind of source material: the ogm is almost always out of sync.
so i would need to find out the length of the demuxed video and audio stream (which i can do manually with vdub and cooledit), then i need to adjust the audio length to the video, then encocode both and mux as before.
any suggestions which tools i could use which help me doing this over the commandline?
i read that tmpgenc automatically adjusts the audio length in such cases, but i also read that only the tmpgenc server version has a cli, and i dont want to buy this.
this is urgend, as files are piling up that need to be burnt (it sucks if i can only put 9 or 10 episodes on 1 dvd.)
