No info about audio track and no sound.

I've a divx file and I hear no sound! I don't know which is the type of audio track. I try to download and install some filters, but nothing...

There's a way throw which knowing the type of audio track inside the avi? I try using virtual dub, but it says "unknown format".

As killingspree recommended, use GSpot (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Editing/gspot22.zip) to find out what you've got. And if it's AC3, as is most likely, then install the AC3 Filter (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/ac3filter_0_68b.exe).

I used GSpot as you have suggested and the response is :"divx (same as wma) (0x0161) DivX".

GSpot told me that I've 3 compatible codecs installed, but I hear no sound and,I know that my question may be stupid, but what is "wma"? It's first time I met it....

I resolved my problem!! Going around in the forum I found (General>Audio encoding>Audio FAQ>Post 17) that my problem was related with divx 3.11 alpha.

Sorry, but I cannot imagine that it was such a problem. I thought that my divx was more recent.
