Hi everyone.
I am trying to encode to Xvid simultaneously in 2 Virtual Dub windows. Reason for this is the following. I encode on Celeron 266(o'clocked to 400mhz). encoding, especially with new features enabled takes much time, sometimes 40-100(!) hours. Sometimes, i want to encode some clip or something small. First, i received (-100 unknown error) when trying to encode smth in second VDMod window. I found out why - i need to change location for stats file. So the question is the following: I think that Xvid stores it's settings somwhere in the registry. If i start to encode something is 2-pass, mode, and then, while it is still in 1st pass, open 2nd VDmod window and encode smth with different settings(vhq,bframes,whatever), Does these settings change in second pass of first VDmod encode too?
