turn on custom matrix?

Hi!

Do I have to do something to use a custum matrix, besides entering the values? I made a custom Matrix, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. What quantization type do I have to select? If I select one, the custom matrix ist not changed into the standard values of the H263/MPEG Matrix. So does the quantization type override the custom matrix? Or have I misunderstood something at

Make sure to set "Quantisation type" to "cust. matrix" instead of mpeg or h263.

Hi!

I have your latest unstable binary and there is no "custom matrix" entry in quantization type. There ist only h263, mpeg, mpeg-custom (doesn't function), modulated, new modulated hq.

You have to use 'MPEG-custiom" to use custom matrix.
And no, your custom matrix will not be reset when you change to standard mpeg or h263.

Thanks, I only had to select mpeg-custom. I have tried this option, but the picture looked like this function was buggy. There had been blocks in scenes without much motion.;)
