I've been reading thru quite abit (but apparently not enuff) the guides the past several days, and have a quick Newb question. I have a DVD ripped to my HD, it's just the main movie (ifo and vobs), it is under 4 GB's, so it will fit on a single DVD. My question is how do I burn these files onto a playable DVD. I saw the Nero Guide, and it uses the file structure of a AUDIO_TS Folder and a VIDEO_TS Folder, with the VIDEO_TS.VOB. Problem is, I don't have the VIDEO_TS.VOB or VIDEO_TS.BUP file. Do I have to somehow make a VIDEO_TS.VOB, VIDEO_TS.IFO, & VIDEO_TS.BUP files (if so, which Guide do I read for that?), or can I just burn the main movie files to DVD?

THANKS!

Welcome to the board.

U have to create a new set of ifos for your movie.

Open ifoedit, click the button create new ifo, locate the files that it will ask u and wait for it to create the new ifos and bup files.

After finishing u may burn the new titleset.

Here (http://www.doom9.org/doc-overview.htm#dvdr) u can find a few ifoedit guides to familiarize yourself with the prog and its capabilities.
Here (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=50) is the forum that discuss it

Thanks for the help, I used ifoedit, and created new ifo & bup files without problem. One other niggling question though, do I need a vts_01_0.VOB file in order to burn a playable dvd-r? As I said before, I only have the main movie files, which are vts_01_1.VOB -> vts_01_4.VOB. If so, how do I create a dummy/blank vts_01_0.VOB file?
