It will depend upon the DVD player in question. Check out www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers for a database of thousands of players, and see what media and formats your player will support.

So I've noticed. Both www.dvdrhelp.com and www.vcdhelp.com point to the same server.

The database can be helpful. Keep in mind that confusion may occur with using the reports whenever the manufacturer changes a capability during production, but doesn't change the model number.

If that happens, you'll see some people get certain features, formats, or media to work, others will have trouble.
