I have a DVR-105, and a DVD-ROM
I installed the DVR-105 as master on secondary IDE and the DVD-ROM as slave on the secondary IDE.

I put a dvd5(one layer, no protection) on the DVD-ROM, I put a blank DVD-R on the DVR-105 --> Ask Nero to copy Disc-to-Disc --> Nero doesn't like it, it complaining that 2 drives on the same IDE ... I ignore this message. and Click next. Nero then keep asking me to insert a blank disc to the DVR-105, i did, i did... and it keeps asking

Am I doing anything wrong with this setup?
What do I have to do so that I can do disc-to-disc copy?

Thanks

Try on the fly copy. I do that with Imgtool, setting the source directory to the DVD ro read.
But DVDROm and burner are on 2 separated IDE.
Anyway, it should work, at least @1X
What is the speed you get from your DVDROM if you are using the burner same time ?

I was having problems w/ them being on the same IDE. That was the only way to do it because I didn't have extra ones, so I bought a PCI controller card that had two additional IDE channels. Now my ripping speed has increased on the dvd-rom and there are no problems. Check ebay for it. I bought a Maxtor ATA 100 PCI card for around $15
