For a longer period of time, I've been looking for a solution to my problem. I tried lot of things but the problem still persist.
I'm trying to make very good quality DivXes. I'm using Gordian Knot all the way. Usually, my movie_avi's are around 1GB and then I sync AC3 tracks to it. Few times I encountered a great problems.
Last one was with Kate & Leopold movie (progressive). Final movie encoding was 117,16 minutes long and AC3 playback time is only 116,45 minutes. The difference is almost a whole 30 seconds. Once I tried the movie, the beginning was great but after about 5 or so minutes, sync goes to hell. Is there any way I can solve this problem and if anyone knows, what couses it? Am I dropping any frames for some reason?
