I'm trying to "create IFOs" for a group of VOB files, and I get an error, "Could not find any VOB unit in VOB file(s)." I don't understand the problem, and could use some help, at least understanding the error message, if not fixing the ultimate problem. THANKS.
The VOBs in the group are of 2 different kinds:
(A) generated w DVD-Shrink, by trimming down to individual short clips, with each clip generated as its own little movie. Each movie-let played fine. I then took the VOB files out of their indiv. folders, put them all in one main folder, and tried to create new IFOs.
(B) generated in a similar way, using .mp2 clips captured from VHS in ULEAD Video Studio as a source, and using that tool to generate a DVD-Video fileset, as in (A), with the VOBs moved to the same main folder.
(BTW, I tried joining all the VOBs with VOBedit, and generating IFOs. That worked, except that (A) files have AC3 audio, and (B) files have PCM-Audio, whatever that means (seen in VOBedit), and the audio in those clips gets lost.)
