crop Help!!

i bought a bootleg dvd its cowboy the movie...
it is widescreen and everything else is sweet as
but the right hand side edge has a 4mm wide black strip
how can i make a divx rip exclude that black strip?

edit: if you want to know why i closed your thread, it's an easy question to answer: bootleg DVDs are (at least to me) known as illegaly copied DVDs. so we are talking about illegal material and therefore you are violating rule 6, a possible double strike!
