Heya there !

I'm Using Vdub with Divx 5.05 Pro using Original 2 passes method. Not my first rip, but first one with OGG (is it really worth it? I heard people saying it was as good as mp3 but you didnt need to have high bitrate...)

So I select Audio->Direct Stream copy
WAV Audio->Select OGG

I do my 1st pass, then 2nd pass ... sharp image ! But no sound... how can I encode using OGG and Vdub? AVI Audio doesnt let you pick any track ...

Please help!

Thanks

You can't encode to Vorbis (Ogg is the container, Vorbis the audio codec) with VirtualDub. What you can do is encode your audio with an external application like BeSweet or OggMachine (http://dspguru.doom9.net) or HeadAC3he (http://darkav.de.vu) and later multiplex that with the video into the Ogg container with VirtualDubMod (http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/).
