Yes, I was looking here for an answer...
And yes I'm newbie here.

I have VDM, everything seems OK. When I want to incerase the sound level (or just change it), I can't make it to save the new avi with compressed sound.
The new file will have 600MB sound... :-(

Yes, I am setting the compression on.
Yes I have seen the standard procedure manual here - video: direct stream, audio: full process, volume up, compression, F7...

Right now I'm doing it roundabout way.
Save to wav, lame, demux.

If you have experience with this, PLEASE let me know the technique you used with success. (Step by step please.)
Thank you in advance.

normalize it how you want...or just up the volume level via .wav or even maybe a .mp3 app. I know cool edit can do it via .wav then save back into a .mp3.

btw there is certain software out there that can boost your volume level via software..ive never tired them but ran across a few a few years back when i was into doing voice overs...again i never tried them though.

there should, by now, be some app that can do that via .mp3 but i dont know of any....check around the web a bit.
