praise for the developers of GKNOT.
i have some (2years) experience making my own DVDrips,
ive made several movies with pretty good quality on my own,
and i did not like the all-in-one dvdrip programs
(crappy picture, extremely large filesizes ect,ect)
and the control factor of being able to use each tool individually,
but i decided to give GKNOT a try and
*****WOW*****!!!!!
i have never had such a good picture in such a controlable filesize,
although having so many pakages to install(gets confusing)
it is an easy obstacle to overcome.

I managed to do high-quality rips in the 5-day no-post delay of the forum! Using GKnot. Fairly easy to use, if you understand the concept!
