I'm trying to make a "Demo DVD" for my home theater and would like to rip chapters of different movies and put them together in one. What's the best way (best/easiest program) to do this?
I'd also like to bring the Dolby Digital or DTS tracks if possible.
Thanks for helping out a newbie.

Hi
Welcome to the forum
I see you are a first time poster. So probably you have been waiting 5 days to be able to post?
Thoose 5 days waiting period is there for good a reason. It ment that you should read all forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm) read all Q&A, read stickys, get to know the forum and learn to search the forum.
Many times has an question been answered many times beacause some dont make a search before posting a new thread.
So please put an effort into it.
Cheers

On behalf of the doom9 team I would like welcome to u to the board.
1. identify the chapter u want to rip using a software dvd player and mark the chapter number.
2. Identify the movie's vts set.
3. use dvddecrypter in IFO mode to demux audio an video from the chapter u want.
Once collected all of them.
4. Make a menu picture in Photoshop or any program u own.
5. Use your favorite program to author the dvd.
Of course this a headline guide and as such it actually depends heavily on the knowledge of the recipient.
If u have any questions on each of the steps pls feel free to contact the forum again.
