Authoring Multi-Format disc

Hello folks !

First, my apologies to you all if i placed this question in the wrong forum but although i said 'authoring' in the subject, it's technicaly not a DVD or VCD or SVCD... I got my hands on a 'multi-format' disc, what is that you ask, well... It's a CDROM but i didn't quite identified the standard (if there is one), if i put it on a DVD player (stand alone) it behaves like a VCD (there is a menu with a few elements: one video with burned subtitles and several karaoke videos), if put in a CD/DVD drive (on a PC) it opens a flash program with a few options: a video (the same first one from the VCD) and a few audio tracks (karaoke style) and finally if put in a CD player (stand alone) it plays only the audio tracks (same mentioned before). I examined it and there is only one session on the disc, with the structure of a VCD and the audio tracks and the flash program together. My question: which program i would use (if there is one) if i wanted to do a disc like that ? I thought of Macromedia's Director, but i think it's more simplier than that (i hope)... I never saw a CD like that, but in Nero you can drag audio files (and any other filetype too) onto the "main level" of the CD, they should be recognized by a CD-player I think, the autoplay-features for PC could be dropped there too...
If it works for you, please report!
(I would try it, but my computer is dead at the moment, the early summer-heat was too much for my poor processor :().
And I don't have the necessary stuff on the notebook of my girlfriend...

Well, I just tried it, and it didn't work, although my CD-player recognized two tracks (there was 1 mpg-track in it the way it is supposed for vcds and a wav-file dropped to the main level of the cd), it wasn't able to play neither or them...
The time-indicator ticked, but no sound...
Have to do some research...

Found this:

A folder named MPEGAV contains files with the MPEG-Audio-Video tracks. If there are any Red-Book-Tracks on the discs there has to be a folder named CDDA containing the audio files. Following Video CD specification version 2.0 not only MPEG-tracks may contain MPEG video and audio, the standard allows to store additional video, audio and still videos in a special segment of the Video CD data track (track #1).

Thanks for trying billy :)
I think that perhaps if we author a VCD (using an authoring program) and create an image, we could insert this files onto it.. I should give it a try, but first i have to ´stabilize´ my computer (i changed my mobo...), i´ll post results as soon as possible. Thanks very much. Best regards.
