Hi to all.

I'm a little confused about the *.M2V file that DIF4U create.
When DIF4U is ready I have a file that ends with M2V and it is almost (for the main movie 5,04 Gb). After the encoding with CCE 2.5 I have still that M2V file and a *.mpv file. Only the *.mpv file is 4 kb so when I run Scenerist it set a placeholder. After reading some here in the forum, I load the M2V file as data, but that file is too BIG. I encoded with default settings in the Big 3. When I replace the template Robshot-Bach with the CBR template I get a *.mpv file that I can use, only it is to smal! After the last time I tried I have a DVD VIDEO_TS folder with all files and end with 3,1 Gb.

How can I solve this? Please give this new one some advise.

I think you might be having the same problem that I had. Read this post:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53987

and the one it links to:

I swapped to DoCCE4U 1.0.1.2 and solved my problem. Hopefully this will help.

GGS.

Tnx for your answer.
I have DoCCE 1.0.1.4 so I will try 1.0.1.2 first see what happens.
Well report back here.

I'm having the same problem using DoCCE4U 1.0.1.4 except that I also get this in my log:

02:38:32 RoBa second part complete.
02:38:33 Pulldown Started
02:38:33 SOURCE = C:\Documents and Settings\Admin \Desktop\LA_CONF\VTS01\VTS__01_P01.16~9_1.mpv
02:38:33 TARGET = C:\Documents and Settings\Admin \Desktop\LA_CONF\VTS01\VTS__01_P01.16~9_1.mpv.m2v
02:38:33 - enabling 2:3 pulldown
02:38:33 - enabling drop frame flag.
02:38:33 ERROR: File is not an MPEG Video Stream (pulldown.cpp)
02:38:33 Pulldown failed.

When it's done, both the mpv and mpv.m2v files alluded to are 0kb. Let me know if switching to 1.0.1.2 fixes it for you!

Well indeed the version 1.0.1.2 Beta did his job perfect.
When CCE was done I have now a *.mpv.m2v (3,79 Gb), after scenarist load the reauthorist file I have 1 placeholder, when correct the path in the data screen (right below) I have now a perfect dvd.

So for now I stay with this version.
O btw
The sourch was No way Out PAL version.
CCE is 2.50.1.0
OS = Win XP pro
Avisynth = 2.5.1.0

I too got everthing working perfectly using DC4U 1.0.1.2 with LA Confidential. Just curious: does anyone know if the new DC4U 1.0.1.5 beta fixes this problem?

I had that problem as well and getting the latest eclCCE fixed that issue.

it actually not a bug in 1.0.1.4 - upgrading your eclCCE to 1.5a or higher will help
and yes 1.0.1.5 which comes with eclCCE 1.5c fixes that problem

I have never said it was a bug. Was simply telling my story.
I did the last night a other test with the 1.0.1.2 version ( did Harry Potter 1) and have a perfect backup. So I'm happy.
Now put all that nice programs you all give to us into one program.

Will dl the new version ofcourse, and will test this for sure.

greets to all.
