Will this prevent color convertion?

Hi all,

if I go about creating a DIVX in the following way, will the color stay in YV12 or will there be color convertion?:

-> I'll use SmartRipper and tell it to copy the entire DVD to 1 VOB-File. I'll open this file in in VirtualDubMod and create a Divx-AVI from it using the 'fast recompress' -option. (will this work without color convertion?)

If you know of any other simple solution to create a DIVX without color convertion please let me know.
