Hi-

You really did those things and it made no difference? Was there a "#" in front of the Tweak line? I just tried those settings and the whole thing is almost washed out to pure white. So do that before opening the .avs in VDub/VDubMod, and then open it in VDub/VDubMod, and let us know if you don't see a difference. And after you see a difference, then maybe Tweak(Sat=1.2,Bright=10) might be enough to brighten it up a bit.

just wondering why my dvd play back is so dark had to format before that it was fine does ffdshow have any thing to do with dvd play back?

it used to be fine then had to format the only thing that has changed is installed gnot 2.8, all my stting are the same brightness contrast are the same but now when play back dvd they are dark and my ripps are dark is there any way to turn up brightness and darkness in dvd playback imean as a base setting so i do not have to go into my player and adjust just wondering because i never had to adjust dvd playback before and my ripps were fine

check the brightness in your overlay

Sorry for my advice,

It didn't really work, and I wasn't aware that it made the picture bright pastal colored...

I still don't have an answer for this post
