DVD2AVI+YUY2+Huffyuv crash?

My first DVD2AVI newbie question: ;)

I was experimenting with DVD2AVI, and wanted to save the decompressed YUY2 output to a Huffyuv AVI. Invariably the resulting AVI is unplayable and crashes with an out-of-bounds memory access in Huffyuv.dll. Tried several times with different VOBs. Tried reinstalling Huffyuv 2.1.1. Tried both DVD2AVI 1.76 and 1.77.3.

Funny thing is, if I select RGB output to Huffyuv, the resulting AVI is OK.

Just wondering if this happens to anybody else.

Yes, it happens to me too. If you want YUY2, then save a project and then decode the D2V file using mpeg2dec via an Avisynth script.

Happened to me also, but I solved it another way:

I changed the color space in DVD2AVI in YUV and so found out
that these 2 have to match and then it works fine.
