I've come across a problem that I can't solve. When ripping a DVD, I'd like to make an SVCD image (bin/cue) of the extra material. The problem is that I can't choose more than one IFO at the same time, to rip.

For example, I have these files (from Elm Street 2), and would like to make them into _one_ svcd image. They're consist of abut everything but the main movie.

2 Dir(s) 19_632_787_456 bytes free

How do I choose/mark them all, and then use "Rip and Convert" in DVD2SVCD? If this isn't possible, how do I, as automated as possible, do to make them all into one bin/cue set?

Thanks for all fast replies.

Welcome to the forum:

I don't know who first proposed this solution, but this is Moderator Mark's explanation of it. It works. Although it may sound complicated, take your time and follow the directions....they'll walk you right through it. I'ts also in the Q&A over in Basic Topics along with many tips to make your encoding life with DVD2SVCD easier.

Markrb's explanation:
Simply make sure you are using Internal routines.
Check DVDripping.
Load the IFO and click on the time dropdown.
A popup will come up. On the top of it is track length.
Select the first one that you want.
Rip it using rip only.
Select the next time length on the dropdown.
Rip it to a different directory.
After you have ripped all the times you want to different directories find the highest number of the VOB's in the first place you ripped to.
Go to the second directory and rename the Vob files there exactly the same but, one number higher then the highest numbered Vob in the first directory.
Copy them to the first ripped place.
Continue doing this for each of the directories ripped.
Uncheck ripping.
Select the IFO off the HD from the first directory
The time shown will be wrong, but that doesn't matter.
It should convert everything as one encode.

There are issues with the above method. DVD2AVI has a bug that can make things like this out of Sync after the first ripped video. It does this even if you rip with another ripper.
You will not get DVD chapters after the first ripped section. Use fixed chapters instead. Subtitles will not work.

Note: You'll need to make absolutely sure that you have an IFO that's named the same as the first VOB-set included in with your newly numbered sets. If there's a more automated solution to this, I don't know of it. Good luck, and let us know how you do!
