After using Avi 2 SVCD the audio on my finished disc sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks, very high pitched and fast in nature. I see that in my folder the mp2 is fast, the mp2.wav is correct and .mpa is correct sounding. Is there a way to make the video use one of the other sources or what setting did I have incorrect in the first place to make the final disc use this speeded up version? ANy help appreciated.

Are you upsampling the sound to 48Khz? If you are that can cause some problems.
What you can do is use BeSweet and the BeSweet gui to make your own audio file that is correct sounding. Then in the Misc tab of DVD2AVI select recover and then choose muxing and cutting. That way you can still keep your encoded video and mux it with the new encoded sound file that you made. Just make sure that you name the new file the same name as the old one or bbmpeg wont be able to find it when it goes to mux.
