How do I replace mplayer2

How can I replace mplayer2 with mplayerc? I've tried to rename, but it doesn't work.

Just go into mpc's file associations option page and have it associate everything with mpc.. So any file you open it goes to Mpc.

what about the capbility of take over the commandline parameters?
(mplayer2 can, but mpc not...)

MPC supports command line parameters. Just open it and go to Help->Command Line Switches. Or, from the command line, type mplayerc.exe /?
