"Audioformat not supported. ..." DVD2SVCD

Hi allmighty community

What can I do if DVD2SVCD tells me "Audioformat not supported. Only AC3, MP3, MP2 and PCM is supported!"?
Here is what G-Spot tells me about the file (audio):
divx (same as wma) (0x0161) DivX Networks.
What can I do? I was looking around but didnt find something usefull. The only thread says that there is an conflict with MinMedia but how to fix it?

It may be that whilst DVD2SVCD doesn't support that audio format, Vdub, or better still VDubMod might. I would try downloading this

Extract this to a folder, run it and open your avi file in it. If it will play choose "Save WAV" from the file menu to save the audio in WAV format.
Then in Video menu choose "Direct stream copy" and in Audio menu choose "WAV audio". You will then be prompted to browse for the wav file you have just saved.

Next select "Save AVI" from the file menu. This will save a new avi file with a direct copy of the video but audio in a supported format.

So if you convert the new avi file in DVD2SVCD it should (might if you're lucky, probably won't knowing me) work.

I dont know if this will work or not but its worth a try. When you play the video file do you have sound? If you dont then you will most likley need a old audio codec called divx sound. You can do a search on google and see if you can find it.

Once you install that you might be able to convert the file. If you can already hear sound then dont worry about anything that I said and do what Nick said to do.

hmmm, bit of a cock up.

I suggested vdubmod over vdub as it supports more compression types, however I gave instructions for vdub 1.4x!

The save wav option in vdubmod is Streams menu -> streams list -> save wav.

Then use Add button to add wav audio to available streams. Select the original divx audio and hit the disable button. Then select Direct Stream Copy from the Video meun and Save AVI from the file menu.

Well this sounds a littele bit confusing to me, but i´ll give it a try.
and if I playit at Winmediaplayer I have clear sound. So it has nothing to do with codecs?!

As I mentioned above somewhere I read that it could have something to do with codecconflict. Have you ever heared about it?



And does anybody have an Idea how to repair bad Blocks? at another movie VCDEasy tells me:
