the RMVB Analyser v1.0 doesn't work for me
when i open the realmedia file with the v1.0,i got some err info
like this:

so maybe the v1.1 will be OK?
Anyone can help me?

It seems to be v1.0. No new release yet.

i think DC use vb6 french edition like me so you get french error message


it seems the prog call a procedure with bad parameters but without the code to read.... ;)

sorry for this late answer i am back to school and i don't have the internet the week.

unhappyly i have lost the source code of this tool a few months ago :( so i think i can't really solve your problem :(

i think u have this error because the input rmvb file is not read correctely , is it a rv8,rv9,rv10 file ? have u try this soft with another rmvb file ? apparently the software have some probleme reading the header.

do u have some tag (author, name ...) in the video ? because this tool was released before the unicode support so perhaps it encounter a problem while reading the chinese tags.

PS : the translation of the error msg is somethink like : "invalid call function or parameters".

i have tested all my rmvb files on my HD£¬including chinese taged or not,and finally i try to open the RV10 High Definition Trailers down from your site--Bourne Supremacy ,it seems no use.

Today i have installed win2000 English version instead,and it works very well! I tested the Chinese taged rmvb files £¬the result is OK.
In any case, i can use it now.

I downloaded the VB6 Runtime (FR) from your site,and i have tested the VB6 Runtime (Chinese) , it's no problem!

PS.The Chinese Environment International Resources File is VB6Chs.dll,hehe so i think , OS is the issue.

i confirm

with old version of realbatch (pre-2.x written with vb6 french) i have ujapanese users who need both ocx and dlls in french to launch RB and englush users need only vb6fr.dll..."sometimes" vb ..... .that's why i use delphi now ;-)
