From Doom's FAQ:

"Please make use of the FairUse forum on www.doom9.org."

Where is this? Did it get put in here?

From: Fair Use Q&A

Q: Where can I get the Fair Use source code?

A: Nowhere. If the author will abandon the project he may release the sources..........

From News:

And if you missed it, the source code of the Fair Use application has been released.

So we are giving up?

Last HELP!!Having trouble, got error:

The DVD could not be converted.

Error. No handler registered for this type of file.

Gonna do some testing to see if it is the DVD or the laptop. If my home system can convert the DVD it must be the laptop right?

Ok the DVD's work fine on my home system so it is just a laptop problem.

The DVDs will rip fine in fact FU only bombs out on the final step after you get the creating 4 video and one audio encoding message.

Any ideas?

Hm, sorry but this is all a bit outdated (DivX3 and FairUse), so you probably won't get much help on the forum.

Use newer codecs/programs.
You have many choices:
Windows Media Video 9, XviD (whatever the current build is), Real Video 9, DivX 5.05, etc.

Just don't use fairuse or DivX3 please!

(If it hadn't been for XviD for instance, I'd still stick to Nandub SBC! :D)
