To:The great folks of the Doom9 forum.

Hello,I have some video that I want to burn dvd.I use TMPGEplus to encode and DVDIT PE 2.5 to burn with. The video quality is not bad but I would like to make it a little ''crisp'' and maybe play with the color also.I use nandub and virtualdubmod but thay don't support Mpeg2 video.I tried to import a Mpeg2 video but I get a error everytime. So what I would like to find is a program that will clean up a Mpeg2 video.Maybe virtualdub can do it and I'am over looking it, I don't know. But if you could help me out or point me in the right direction it would help me out alot.Thanks.

Have a super day.

p.s.If I'am breaking a rule I'am sorry.

Hello back!

Here's a link to a thread in which jggimi provided help on MPEG-2 to DVD. (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54749&highlight=mpeg2+to+dvdmi/) Included in his response is also a link to the DVD Backup Guides, which is always a good place to start. This thread that you'll go to might not meet your exact criteria, but there are some good clues there for you.

play with the TMPGencīs built-in filters in the "advanced"-tab,
i.e. sharping edges or increasing contrast

Thanks to all for your help and time with this topic.Lord of the Discs,I knew about the advanced section in TMPGEnc for filters.I was not sure how well it would work.My next project I will give it a try and see what kind of results I get. Thanks again for all your help.

Have a super day.
