Hi,
I'm having a lot of troubles doing die another day. In Dif4u i see several PGC's but most important PGC 13 and 14 are exactly the same, only PGC has more subs. I ripped the movie (only pGC13) and run it trough CCE and scenarist. After i constructed the dvd it plays back fine. but somehow the subs are dissapearing after 4/5 minutes. When the movie plays on, i noticed that the subs are out of synch. I dont ahve a clue what is causing this. Can someone hep me in the right direction of solving this problems?.
Bye the way.. Doitfast4u/Reauthorist are execellent programs..
THANX
Benny

Can you post up the PGC 13 & 14 IFO details? RA is only able to handle PGC rips at this point.

Bot pgc 13 and 14 have 2 angles, so that's why you subtitles go out of sync when you rip it by pgc I guess. Besides that If you do it by pgc, you video will look pretty funny I think (the MI6 stream will pop up every now and then)

You need some webspace somewhere to put them on.

I knew this problem sounded familiar. I've had almost the exact same thing happen with K-19: The Widowmaker, where the first 400 or so subs of each language of the movie VTS are missing. I had actually completely forgotten about that project  . Anyway, in my case (and I'd say yours) it's caused because the movie is multiangled as influenza has already said. Though all the video/audio is fine, the subs are up the creek. I was actually going to see if creating new ifo's with IFOedit would do anything for me, but forgot all about it. I'll have to give it a go.

Well i tried the backup with Dvd Shrink 2.2 and it did a perfect job :). Everything is on it even the multiangle. If only someone could implement Multiangle in DIF4u...?

I would've even settled for removing the "secondary" angle with ifoedit and then ripping, but for some odd reason ifoedit won't let me select the "remove angle" feature under vob tools...anyone having this same problem?

Hi.
I just get on this trouble on 007; I posted about here : http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55569
Concerning your problem, it's coming (Not sure as @work) from the fact that subs are splitted over several ID. You can noticed there are several (4 or 5 can't remember )times English/french/netherlands subs.
i am quite sure you only kept sub 0x20,X21 and/or 0x23 and forget others, which probably are subs for remaining part of the movie.
My problem is I cannot demux Subs by VobId with latest DIF 1.1.5.0.
I did not try with previous version so, I don't know if this worked before.

It works with DIF4U 1.1.5.0b (sub rip by vob id)

Hi,
Great to hear !!!. So how does it exactly work. Do i have to rip with All angles. When i i see the files i see PGC 13 and 14 which have exactly the same lenght (play time) if i select all angles dif4u will rip pgc Angle 01 and 02 and will also do the same for PGC 14 Angle 01 and 02. This also means i will have 4 movies to encoded (PGC 13 Angle 1 PGC13_Angle 2 PGC 14 Angle 1 PGC 14 Angle 2. This can't be true.
Some advice needed here.:)

The only way to go, if you only want the movie with subtitles is to rip either pgc 13 or 14 by vobid and put it together again in scenarist or maestro
