no audio sinc - problem in besweet?

My problem:
on Treasure Planet and HarryPotter and the chamber of secrets I've no SYNC in the second CD. Audio and video quality are OK.
To save time and to be able to do several trials, I use an image ISO of the DVD on HD (Daemon tools), extracted with DVD Decrypter.

(I do not know hot to attach to this forum the sys.txt and log.txt files.)

I'VE READ CAREFULLY Q&A.

Sorry, but no answers found there to my problem.

I think the problem is inside audio extraction. See in particular Encoded_audio_1.txt where many errors are evidentiated.

Welcome to the forum.
Did you make a search on (audio sync) before posting?
I dont think you are going to get any help before giving some more info. What format are you trying to convert to? avi, vcd, svcd,

If you are using dvd2svcd please send your logfile. You dont need to attach it as a file, just copy it and paste into your post.
This info and much more can be read in this sticky (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19566).
By the way, if you work with dvd2svcd, vstrip or internal routines allways is to prefere.

Looks familiar. Please, download IFOedit, load your .ifo file there and look how the length of the chapters corresponds to the stream or CRC errors time marks. I suppose they are the same. What it could mean? Anything. F.i. BAD dvd mastering, I mean each chapter has different audio delay and therefore the programm loses stream or CRC. I have the same situation with one DVD disk which I wanted to convert to SVCD partially. After splitting needed cells and merging them into one NEW dvd I have the same CRC and lost streams error. As soon as I still have not found a solution - I could not advice you anything, but to test any other disk.

I have never done a dvd2avi conversion (only to svcd). But i think you should try to use dvd2svcd's internal routines to rip your movie instead of dvddecrypter.

I do tried to convert from DVD to SVCD the two movies using DVD2SVCD. Moreover I do used internal routines for ripping. I only used DVD Decrypter for creating an ISO image of the whole DVD disk on my HD (very usefull indeed!).

I attach hereto the whole dvd2svcd log txt related to the other file (planet treasure) (the other one I sent You is one recovered after ripping, sorry).

Thank You for any further help.

P.S.: I had to cut the path of files in the text (minor changes, I think!) to cope with 15000 character lenght constraint.

Hi again ipini.

I think you should try to change yor "movie offset" and "cd overlap" settings to 2 seconds. (bbmpeg tab in d2s)
If that doesnt work try to encode without using titel, change cd and last cd pictures.

And if this wont work then i dunno what to do.

Well if you tried diffrent programs and tried to reinstall them and if you have the settings right and it still wont work. Then it is a hardware problem.
And as you describe it i dont think it is your cpu. But i do think you are right about your dvd-rom. Try to change it. They are not that expensive. But maby you should try another brand than LG.

I have a few different comps and in each of them I have a Lite-On DVD drive. They are about $35.00. I havent had any problems with the 3 drives that I have.

I figure that even if they break down in a year or two they are worth the $35.00 that I spent on them.
