Hi folks,

I was wondering if its possible to make a DolbyDigital AudioCD.

Okay first you need is a ripped ac3 file, then (so my first take) use besure 1.2 (besweet1.5b18) for direct transcoding, normalizing into a dolbydigital audiowav.
result -> one WAV file with ~650MB

as done before with the DTS-WAV from the same DVD I created a CUE file to cut the tracks while burning it with nero

->the only method I know burning a DTS-LIVE concert without tiny
breaks between the tracks

->burning single DTSWAV tracks failed even in the dao-mode with NO
pauses (ZERO seconds) between the tracks

but this time a error messages accured - error in line 31.. of the CUE file - WAV-file is too big

650MB too big??? :(

Can someone help me out of this dillema?

split the file with BeSplit, "-type wav".

Hi dspguru,

too big means: ~73 min -> ~650.000kb, this canīt be too big in any case

what would you suggest to do in this mentioned sitution?
is it possible to 'cut' one digitalaudiowave via CUE sheet (-> tracks after burning on the CD, I already managed this with DTSWAVs)

or is there a deeper problem with the 'dolby-digital-audiowavs???
e.g.
Cue-sheet file looks like this:

*********************

dtswav, dolbydigitalwave are the same as plain stereo wav from a cutting-software point of view.

regarding suppot for .cue files,
it should be extremly easy to write a gui that accepts a .cue file and generates a BeSplit commandline. (in similar to chapter-x-tractor that accepts .ifo file and generates BeSplt's commandline).
maybe you would like to create a thread in the development fourm and ask for a volunteer ;)

check out Enfis' CUE SPLITTER (http://www32.brinkster.com/enfiz/DOWNLOADS/__APP__/CUE_File_Splitter_v0.2_{by_Enfis}.zip). it works together with BeSplit..

thx dspguru

iīll try it out ( after a little improving my Italien :D )

i found my mistake in the cue file: the original ac3 file counts about 62 min -> so the dolbydigitalwav, too -> the cue file will run till end of time (...and end of space ;) )

but

if i burn the dolbydigitalwav with nero as an normal pcm wav audio cd - there is definitivly NO noise on it - my Amp supports nearly all formats (DolbyDigital and DTS in any case - iīīve already tried this out  )

is there a special setting needed to burn this dolbydigitalwav as a normal CDDA? or is there finally something wrong with the coding methode by using besure 1.2 (besweet 1.5b18 + normalizing setting) with the original ac3 file (which works perfect while replaying it on the pc with WMC+AC3DDS-filter)?

CYA Daphy

PS: with the CUE-File-METHODE one can fade in in the middle of the 6 source mono wavs and burn the rest (after transcoding into a DTSWav -AC3-WAV????) in one go without any splitting!!!
i think that saves a lot of time :D

Altough this was issued a couple of times ...
The goal is to split these large (Hole Cd) MP3 files into small ones
according to tracks listing in exact order according to original CD.
There are few applications to do it but the main goal / problemo "
is to find the CUE sheet / Split info

Maybe someone know a web catalog or other way to split/cuit these mp3 correctly ?

@ saxin

Sorry, but your question is dangerously close to a rule 6 violation. We cannot help you with any CD that you do not own. This announcement (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50766), although pertaining to partial DVD files, explains our policy in this matter.
