How can i read not finalized dvd on dvd rom

Hello friends.

If i burn a mutisession DVD-R but not finalized can i read it on other dvd rom other than the dvd writer.

If not is there any software that i can install in order to read the content.

what does the dvd-r contain?

hmmm... strange... and you cannot read it in a normal dvd-rom drive? can you give a few more details? like + or -, i pressume you used nero?! etc... can you read it in your burner?

I use Nero and DVD-R & DVD-RW under xp pro. I can read them on my burner but if i take them to the dvd rom on other computer.. the computer cannot recognize the dvd unless i finalize it.

hmmm... strange... do you have nero installed on the other computer?
this is just a wild guess though...
