Sorry if this bug has been already mentioned but I hadn't time to check.
Basically encoding with the new docce4u that uses eclcce come up with the following error :
vinfo failed() bad data <C:\advd\pgcwhatever>
Has this bug already been addresed or what????
I think it may have something to do with me not select progressive in the docce4u settings.
A fast reply is needed!
TIA
Baker

Hello mr.baker :)
I had this problem when using cce2.5.
Try changing you eclcee version to 1.5a - which works well for me. If not, experiment with different versions....
Selecting progressive or not shouldnt cause you any errors

Well, I had the same problem, using the DoCCE4U1.0.1.4 from Doom9's site (Never tried any of the big 3 before the official release of RA). Included there was a ECLCCE from May 12th - v1.4c most likely. I updated with the latest version from this thread (dated June 10th / v1.5c) (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46664) and it worked.
(Edit in italics)
Remember you have to replace the EclCCE files in the DoCCE4U directory, dropping them into the CCE directory will not fix this problem.

An update on my problem,
I have all the latest versions of all programs. It will sometime create the vaf file, but then it will simply open the transcoding window for a sec, then nothing happens. When I check if theres an mpv file, its there but empty! And if I have an encode set to go after the first one, it simply wont start the encoding of the vaf file! Instead the vaf creation window pops up, then does nothing, the goes away. ONce again a VAF file is there but its empty! Then when it attempts to create a mpv with this vaf file I get a vinfo error!!
From what I see I thinks that Eclcce is doing something wrong to cce. I think this because NO maqtter what the first pass the program does is (be it an mpv file as its a cbr encode) it will always cock up. Its the SECOND pass which always fails.
PLease say you guys have a soloution cause I want to see this movie!!
An update for an update!:
Dopey here forgot that reauthorist creates an ECL file! I tried this and its encoding now no problem... uh-oh came to the second encode on the list and gave me a vinfo error!!!
Right the way I see it is as I am the problem. You guys made a great system and I am making an error in it somewhere. Why are we using eclcce with docce4u now anyway???? I have CCE 2.5 so I shouldn't need it but docce4u asks for it!!!
-------
Sorry to write in this "more news" style but I trying new encoding ideas as i type so I am finding out new stuff.
I have a version of docce4u in a folder where no program to my knowledge has touched it(unless eclcce or docce4u autmatically finds all copys of CCE and patches them all?) I put my ecl from reuthorist into this and it still gave me the v-info error :-(. Guys, this is beyond me, please throw this dog a bone.

baker - i've put eclcce 1.5a on my site. It's the only version I can get to work with cce2.5
replace it in your docce4u directory & restart the whole project again from the dif4u stage [just to be safe]
Get it HERE (http://ripnburn.aahubs.com/eclcce15a.zip)

Got the same problem, but after a upgraded to 1.5c a got another strange bug/error i cce.
My error are that my cce stops when cce loads vaf or in mpv encoding.
and gets an error in ntdll.dll.
Most of the times a get ntdll.dll have make a fault, and will quit.
A have never seen that in error when a enconded some other dvdr or svcd with CCE 2.5.
Im using avisyngh 2.08 and a did start with 2.51 and did get the same error.
Please can some one help me?

I had this exact same problem. I was using EclCCE 1.4c once I upgraded to ver 1.5c and then moved the files EclCCE.exe and eclcce.dll to my docce4u directory then everything is working fine. Sorry I have no info on ntdll.dll error. Forgot to mention I am using cce 2.50.
