Undersize filles

Hi,
I try to encode AVI to XVCD, I use 2-pass method. The problem is that the size file isn't the provided, it's undersize and I can't found the mistake. The avi file information is:

Divx 5.x
Length: 92 m 2 s
Resol: 608x320
Avg bitrate: 925 kbps

You should use the wizzard, then it will work !

The problem is that the size file isn't the provided = The size is not the expected.

I use a calculator to calculate the average bitrate. And always the result has been the desired.

What CD-R-Size do you use?
Which Bitrates do you use?

I think you missunderstod...
The calculator you used is convert to Xvid. (Ex: DVD -> Xvid)
FitCD is a good calculator to calculate MPEG files

Let me guess... You are using 2pass VBR - the new Mode, not the older one, right?
Then, that's normal. The new Mode often does this on such low Bitrates.

Try using the old 2pass Mode or, if you want the new mode, set B-Picture Spoilage to -5 - 5, don't use the Default-Setting. This may help.

This Calculator is "multiformat", support XVCD.

I used the old type, and this is the strange. I have encoded many movies using this method, and it never happend. I'll try the new type with your suggestions...

Huh? You used the old type? That's realy strange. Like i wrote, many people did report this about the new one, not on the old one.

Are you sure, the Playtime of the Video hasn't changed?

yes, I use it. The playtime doesn't change, it's the same. The GOP structure is 1/4/2 (I/P/B) length max = 15 (it's PAL video), is it correct? any sugesstion? any change?
