I just let ReAuthorist go through my folder of ripped files from DoItFast4U. Here are the bitrates it said was equivalent to 52% of the original size:
PGC01: 79847
PGC02: 75057
PGC03: 571023
PGC04: 57046
...etc...
what's the matter?

redeemer-dk - I've seen this before when you're trying to use RA to recreate slide show/still frame PGCs, which isn't supported. What's your IFO structure on this VTS so I can confirm?

i just found out that it says all my PGC's have a duration of 10 seconds... probably the reason that it calculates it wrong
Here's my IFO: http://www.chasecarter.ca/redweb/Redeemer/VTS_01_0.IFO

Ah yes, this normally indicates a problem with the AVS files. If you preview them in media player, it should tell you what the specific problem is...

You're right. It was a problem with the avs file. VirtualDub said that the mpeg2dec3.dll wasn't an avisynth 2.5 plugin so i replaced it with the file in gordian knot dir and now it works :)
thanks

what i do is set the slider to 100% on slide shows so they don't get re-encoded

@redeemer: where did you replace the mpeg2dec3.dll? was it in the DoItFast4U directory? if it was in the DIFU directory then did you replace the one in the root directory or the one in the 'new.avs' folder? i'm having the same problems with my avs so feel free to elaborate because i could use all the explaining possible :D

I replaced the mpeg2dec3.dll in the root folder of DoItFast4U, i think it was 126kb, with the mpeg2dec3.dll from the Gordian Know root folder which is 100 kb.
