i'm trying to take an extracted wav file with just stereo and convert to ac3 5.1 (reason: cos it sounds better than just mp2) and no other method will play on my amp).
i tried just using soft encode to begin with and although when i play the film my amp shows up as dolby digital the sound is only coming out of two speakers.
so what im trying to do is use besweet to convert into six wave files but after converting if i play one of the files its all speeded up.
here is my log:
BeSweet.exe -core( -input f:\Encoded_audio_1.mp2.wav -output c:\Encoded_audio_1.mp2-New- -6ch -logfilea C:\Be Sweet\BeSweet.log ) -profile( ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ )
[00:00:00:000] +------- BeSweet -----
[00:00:00:000] | Input : f:\Encoded_audio_1.mp2.wav
[00:00:00:000] | Output: FL, FR, SL, SR, C, LFE
[00:00:00:000] | Floating-Point Process: No
[00:00:00:000] | Source Sample-Rate: 48.0KHz
[00:00:00:000] +---------------------
[01:39:19:656] Conversion Completed !
[00:00:52:000] <-- Transcoding Duration
Logging ends : 06/09/03 , 08:01:11.
any ideas!!!
p.s.
for the ppl out there struggling to get ac3 2.0 sound with a pioneer amp the method i used first works fine- i took the encoded audio wav file that dvd2svcd left for me and then just put it through soft encode
