Hello to all.

I tried to backup my first DVD and found that it was hard work :D
I was lucky that I printed the hole guide from doom9 and follow it to the letter (I gues) :D

I have some things that I have some trouble with.

First I run DIF4U, and that was not so hard to get done.
After that I run DOCCE4U and that goes allright to after running RA I get confused.
After encoding I found my filename.mpv and this was only 4 b.
After reading here in the forum I found the filename.M2V but this one was 5,69 Gb. And that is only the movie, and nothing else
I thought wel go one and after RA was done I started up scenarist, I have 3 placeholders  Well after reading some more on the forum I replaced the path in the data screen (in the right corner below) and tried again and yes there it goes :D :D :D
After the last part IFO Update I tried in powerdvd the files I get.
And YES YES it works, only my subs where red in stead of white but wat the heck I couldn't burn the DVD, because the side is to big.

Who can help me out? What did I wrong??

I have the log files placed here doitfast4u.log (http://members.chello.nl/~d.docter/logs/doitfast4u.log)
IN ROOT MAP doitfast4u.log (http://members.chello.nl/~d.docter/logs/IN%20ROOT%20MAP%20doitfast4u.log)

Hi to all again.

I tried it all over again, this time with Cast Away.
I read the Doom9 guide again, and found the thing I didn't do before.:o :o :o :o

I never hit the button Auto-Size :o :o :o

Well after I came to myself, I run futher with it.
And found that all goes well and no troubles at all.

DIF4U and DoCCE4u and RA and even Scenarist run fine here, I even have no placeholders on Scenarist.

After running IfoUpdate, I still end with a problem!

I tested the DVD in PowerDVD and all goes fine all chapters, subs and audio are playing fine.

When I would burn the DVD in NERO it came with DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continu? So I stop this time.
I Remember me that I read some about Nero so this time I use IMGTOOL Classic and build me a ISO. After that I burn the movie with DVD Decrypter. After this run the DVD in my pc DVD player and yes all goes fine no problems, when running in my standalone it will not go futher as the main menu and stops there.

So who nows the answer?
Please some help on this.
Thanks.

i'm not sure if this will solve your problem but it's worth a shot...look at this thread and use IFOEdit to "Get VTS Sectors"

I get the same message in Nero:
" DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. "

But I burned it anyways and it worked fine on my Sony standalone. I don't remember what model number my standalone player is though. I already corrected the VTS sectors too, so I'm not sure what part of the test I am failing.

I used to use Nero too. But I found it not to be 100% reliable, so I switched to using the DVD decrytpter iso method and haven't had a problem since.
