I'm probably going to end up the laughing stock, but how do you play these files?
I've tried winamp(2&3) and wmp9, but all i get are errors or just nothing. I've got all the codecs that I would have thought I needed. Do you have to use a special player?
cheers

Welcome:
It looks like the Core Media Player will fix you up, and I'm pretty sure there are other solutions as well. Here's a link (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50298&highlight=play+ogm+files/) that will take you to a thread in which vkem and Telemachus have posted help on your problem, including extra links that will aid you further. Follow the yellow brick road! Once again, the ole search button has bailed us out. Decide what your problem is and enter it in a search. Use it often, it's your best tool here! Good luck

the best is you use VirtualDubMod to convert them to avi, then you'll have no problems whatsoever to play the videos in any normal windows PC without extra installations.
The video part will remain intact in any case (no recompression)
But you may have to convert the sound to mp3 if you have it in ogg format.
did you install the latest ogg directshow filter (http://tobias.everwicked.com/) (dont use codec packs like nimo)?
if yes you should be able to use any player you want (i am not sure about wmp9 - this player is crap)
if you want a real good player, written especially for movie videos take one of those:
bsplayer (http://www.bsplayer.org/) or
Media Player Classic (http://www.gabest.org/mpc.php) or
zoomplayer (http://www.inmatrix.com/zplayer/)
although it is pretty old ;) i still use bsplayer and i have no problem with it...

Cheers guys!
Downloaded tcmp4 and although the video didn't show up at first, A quick look on their forums sorted that out.
It does seem to take up a lot of resources, but the video plays smooth. Think i'll stick to winamp for the music ,although I like the .mcp support. Winamps equalizer adds a lot of topend to the music...hmm, need to think about this.
But once again, a chubby noob sends a salute of gratitude.

Must have overlooked a codec, 'cos now the file plays in winamp and wmp9.
