At least! This player is very good, i was missing it. Now that it supoprt Matroksa subtitles it really works very good. Smooth (more than MPC and Zoom Player) and less cpu usage.

The only thing i've found it's that enabling to switch to full screen when double-click on the screen doesn't work. It goes full screen but switch to normal view right back.

For developpers: Good work!

Just installed the last build. Switching to fullscreen have the same bug as I reported some time ago. Also, with matroska files with internal subtitles bsplayer has an strange behaviour (with external everything is fine). Special character like this: ñ. ö, ô, à. é, etc... are not well viewed. Please see picture here:

http://www.arkania.org/users/jkwarras/bscap000.jpg

And, it has an strange behaviour because it try to load the OGGDS filter, it shows in the taskbar, then dissapewar, shows again, disaapear, and after a while, it disappear completly and playback starts.

Regards.

Mhh I can't play any Avi file with the latest to versions of the BSPlayer but I haven't tried any older through.

I use the latest ffdshow build to decode.

The error Msg I get : Unknown Avi file format (XVID)

In the WMPlayer the file works fine.

bond
25th March 2004, 11:20
no problem here with bsplayer

are you sure you enabled xvid in ffdshow?

DvdKhl
7th April 2004, 20:35
sry for the late response

But I found the mistake I made.

I only allowed ffdshow to output Y12 colorspace and in BSPlayer it is disabled by default. Any reason why?
Because the xvids or divx files are in Y12 and I wanted to avoid a colorspace change.
Or is there a good reason to change it to RGB?
